Smoothie Prep Time: 5 minutes – Please prepare and freeze your fruits ahead of time.
- 1 cup of spinach or kale
- 1 cup of sliced fresh fruit that has been frozen (choose any combination of the following fruits, but total amount of fruit should equal to 1 cup):
(Notes: One of our favorite combinations is banana, blueberries, and spinach. Strawberries, pineapple, and spinach is a delicious combination, too!)
- 3/4 cup water (avoid milk and milk substitutes as they can be fattening)
- 1/4 cup (or handful) of ice
Blend all ingredients until smooth.
